Manufacturing

From tooling to assembly, in sequence

Each project moves through three production stages on the same site: machining for tooling, injection molding, then assembly.

  1. Tooling workshop machining equipment

    Step 01

    Tooling

Machining for the tools that shape each new part.

    2 tooling lines

  2. Injection molding production line

    Step 02

    Injection molding

An automated injection production line for repeatable parts.

    1 automated injection line

  3. Assembly workstations

    Step 03

    Assembly

Louvres, latches and moving parts brought together by hand.

    4 workshops on site

Checked at every stage, from material to shipping

Inspection covers incoming material, injection, assembly and shipping, supported by in-house test equipment.

Flammability test equipment
  1. Incoming material

Material is checked when it arrives, before it is released to the injection workshop.

  2. Injection

Molded parts are inspected as they come off the injection line.

  3. Assembly

Assembled vents and mechanisms are checked, including their moving parts.

  4. Shipping

Finished parts are checked and packed before dispatch.

MPV interior installation

MPV roof air vents, seen in the cabin

In an MPV, roof air vents bring airflow to passengers in the rear rows. Xuntao makes four MPV vent designs, including round turbine vents and wide twin-vent panels.

What we need from you, and how a sample gets approved

Tell us what the part must do and how it should look. We turn that into tooling and a sample you approve before production.

  • Dimensions

Overall size, mounting points and the space the part must fit within.

  • Material

The plastic or material family your interior specification calls for.

  • Colour and finish

Colour and surface finish to match the rest of the cabin.

  • OEM or ODM

Build to your design, or develop the part with us from your brief.

  1. Share your brief

Send the component, dimensions, material, colour and expected quantity.

  2. Confirm tooling

We agree the tooling approach with you. Tooling is charged for new samples.

  3. Approve a sample

A sample is made from the tooling. You review it and approve before production starts.

  4. Start production

Production takes 15–20 days after tooling, subject to project confirmation.

Answers on samples, tooling and timing

The questions buyers ask first. For anything else, write to us with your project details.

  • We manufacture small and medium-sized injection-molded automotive interior and exterior parts and functional components, including non-standard custom parts.

  • Yes. Dimensions and colours can be developed for the project, with new tooling where required. Injection molding is the main process. Material options include PP, ABS, PA+GF and PBT; the final material is agreed for the application.

  • Yes. Long-term cooperation pricing and volume discounts can be discussed.

  • The sampling schedule depends on the complexity of the part.

  • Yes. Samples are prepared for approval before batch production.

  • New samples require tooling first. The stated production period is 15–20 days; confirm the project schedule when placing the order.
